This section contains any kind of moving water, wallpapers of calmer water are on the Lakes & Seas Page. Two of the main locations on the Streams page are The Longshaw Estate & Padley Gorge in the Derbyshire Peak District and Aysgarth Falls in The Yorkshire Dales. |
The Longshaw Estate is a very large area of the Northern Peak District with a Mountain / Woodland Stream running through the center along Padley Gorge. All of the Longshaw Estate is open to the public with lots of footpaths. Aysgarth falls is at the Eastern end of Wensley Dale in the Yorkshire Dales, on the A684. The are three separate sets of small waterfalls or steps carved out by the River Ure. |
